If you just registered with Host1Free.com please wait for few minutes to get the account active. In some cases it can take up to 40 minutes to be get account activated. You do not have to do anything about it it will be automatically activated.

You most probably have an error in your .htaccess file.

And ftp.fcbeirut.com does not point to our servers. You have to set up the domain in your registrar to use ns1.host1free.com and ns2.host1free.com as the namservers.

ok .. i deleted the .htaccess file and now http://box6.host1free.com/~fcbeir/ ... this opens with no problems .. now how should i configure the DNS so www.fcbeirut.com would show the index page ? + would it take some time too? thats what i want to know ..sorry for bothering you but am still new here and clueless !

You have to add our nameservers to the domain. This procedure is done in your domain registrar (where you have bought the domain). After changing DNS servers, it will take somewhere from 4 hours to 48 hours for the DNS to propagate completely around the world and only then you will be able to access your account here through your domain.
