google apps / CNAME change for custom email page access

    Hi,
    I'm having mydomain.com working
I have my email also redirected to google apps.
Now I want to set up a custom email access to mydomain.com, it will be email.mydomain.com
to do that google send me a tutrial which request the addition of a CNAME with my subdomain "email" and the value with ghs.google.com
At this point I am confusing with the "dot"

    Should I put

    email CNAME ghs.google.com
    or
    email CNAME ghs.google.com.
    which one is the correct?
anything else I have to do?
Doing that is suppose that I will be able to access to my email using email.mydomain.com

the same with sites on google apps
they request to add another CNAME with the same value

    sites CNAME ghs.google.com

    Thanks

Re: google apps / CNAME change for custom email page access

    Hi Guys,

I am trying to do the same thing as amigliora. I entered CNAME for:
    webmail CNAME ghs.google.com.

When I tried to type webmail.gdincorporation.com, it was rerouted to 000webhost.com error page. I uses 000webhost.com before, but I cancelled all the account. For some reason some records are still lingering. Any suggestion. The same goes when I tried to set subdomain gds.gdincorporation.com. It somehow points to the 000webhost server.

    Thank you
