Re: Cannot Change to other joomla Template
Well that is a little weird. Have you already installed the template that you want to use?
Which version of joomla are you using.
For the current version (I mean version 1.6) you can get the template installed and working by
- Use the extension manager to upload and install your template. My first use of the old method of copying the template into the template folder did not work well. Its better to upload it using the extension manager, in a zip form and then click on the "upload & install" button to install the template
- You can then go to the template manager and select the template you want to use. and click on the "make default" button on the top right hand side.
Your selected template will then replace the default template.
Please give details of your problem if this do not solve it; including the version of joomla and the exact problem.

Re: Cannot Change to other joomla Template
I am using joomla 1.5.22, i already used the method you showed me. ok try it urself..the component, plugin folders and so on will give you error messages everytime we instal them. what i will do is to change folder permission via ftp. but yet some of them persist reluctanly to pass their permission. i mean the folder itself. tq.
