can`t install any extensions for joomla

Already tried to change CHMOD on ftp, but no results. For ex:

• It was not possible to copy the selected file.
• JInstaller::install: Failed to copy file: /home/sheleh1/public_html/tmp/install_4dac380783bcf/yvtransliterate.php to /home/sheleh1/domains/shelehov.sx33.net/public_html/plugins/system/yvtransliterate.php

and:An Error has occurred! Unable to open configuration.php file to write!
So files and dirs not available for writing from admin panel of CMS, I think.How can I install templates and extensions (and edit configuration,php) from admin panel of Joomla?Thankx for any answers.

Try set chmod 755 or 777 for configuration.php
Then copy that plugin's folder into plugins folder inside your Joomla installation. Should work...

So I can`t do it from admin panel? Only in ftp mode?

Depends which "Admin panel" you refer
Should work from Joomla Dashboard, but first you need to have the right chmod on your files. You can do that from FTP or via Direct admin control panel. There you have too a File manager. If you still have problems, try via that file manager to upload the plugin into plugin folder...
