    Getting started from the beginning

    Hi,

I'm just trying to get started. The help talks about transferring files from another domain host. However, I've tried to build a webpage using a html visual editor so the files are on my computer. Which files exactly do I need to upload? Because on my harddrive I have a file named "Weight loss - Health Directory.htm" & also a directory by that name with about 10 files (jpg, gif, js, css). Do all these files including the .htm file all go into the public_html directory?

Also, I am trying to create subdomain like www.directory0.co.cc/weightloss instead of weightloss.directory0.co.cc as a subdomain. Is this possible? Is this counted as a subdomain or an additional domain? & to which directory structure shall I upload all the necessary files?

    Thanks,

    Maybe this will help:

    * rename that "Weight loss - Health Directory.htm" file to "index.htm" (or "index.html") but can leave the folder and it's image files as it is; open up that index.htm file in a browser to make sure all images still loaded.

    * to have website like "www.directory0.co.cc/weightloss/", you just need to create a directory named "weightloss" inside your public_html, then upload the files (HTML + directory + files inside the directory) you have created into that directory.
