How to give uploading permissions to wordpress?
I want to put my picture on my website and when wordpress tries to upload it says
"Unable to create directory /home/planet5/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2010/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server?"
Please Help!

Re: How to give uploading permissions to wordpress?
Change chmod 777 recursive on "upload" folder. If you still have problem, also reset the owner. You have that buttons in Directadmin FTP Manager, just under the files list.

Re: How to give uploading permissions to wordpress?
You can do recursive permission changes with Filezilla FTP client (as far as I remember).

... or...In DirectAdmin - File Manager, under the files you have chmod, recursive and owner reset. Select the files and use that buttons. Are much faster...
