cant upload my website. Stops at random point

i created a website a few months ago. Now i want to modify/update my site but the upload seems to stop in a random position each time i try to upload. I have even tried completely deleting all the files on the site and starting the upload fresh. Still doesnt work. i am trying to update via my website builder (Webplus) but i have also tried ftp with the same results. It appears that your site randomly stops me trying to upload files. (when i try to upload a file with ftp, the original file is erased (the name stays) but the file contents dont get updated and the file length is zero in size (so the file contents get erased, not replaced).
Any ideas?

Hi,

My username is jktest and the box number is box8 (I think). What happens sometimes is that it begins the upload and will start to upload but it will stop at some random point. If i come back hours later and continue, it might then continue for a while and again stop at another random point later. It's as if some file permissions are randomly changing and then resetting correctly at a later stage. Thanks for any suggestions.

What FTP client you are using for uploading ? We suggest to use FileZilla as you could resume upload process. Probably you are getting disconnected from the server due to broken internet connection. What size of files you are uploading ?
