Hi guys!


I am new here, and wasn't able to find an answer to my problem - or at least whcih I am able to understand...

I am using FileZilla, have tried FireFTP as well as Auto FTPManager, but I constantly get the same error message:
"530 Sorry, the maximum number of clients (4) for this user are already connected."


I am on box12 (box12.host1free.com).
Question: are the four clients in the error message related to the sum of all the users using box12 or is it supposed to be only me? I am trying to login with only one client (/program) at a time, and I reduced already the number of simultaneous connections in the advanced setting of FileZilla to one. However, I am still not able to login or if I was able to login upload my files.

Any help appreciated!

For me your FTP connection working without any problem. 4 Clients for your user is related only to the connections being made using your username.

It's strange. I was logged in only with one instance of FileZilla, and had problems with the upload the whole time. Often I got the error message already when I tried to login. In days I managed to upload the files one by one.
Tonight or tomorrow I will try again since I have some more pictures I want to upload to the project pages. So I will test again.
