Cannot Access phpMyAdmin
Account Name : allscr
Domain Name: allscripts.iwoly.com
E-mail ID : I am not happy putting an e-mail into a forum post
Server hosted : box9.host1free.com
I changed my password in DirectAdmin Web Control Panel and checked all boxes for:
DirectAdmin Account
Main FTP Account
Main Database Account
I tried to log into phpMyAdmin with both the new and old password with no success.
I can login with FTP and DirectAdmin, (system), using the new password.
The old password still shows in the Control Panel though.

Re: Cannot Access phpMyAdmin
Hello,
To access phpMyAdmin, firstly you need to create a database. Then you will get database username and password which you will use to access phpMyAdmin.

@Modestas
Thanks.
The strange thing is yesterday when I clicked on the 'Create new database' in:
MySQL Management
Create new Database
phpMyAdmin
I got an error so I thought that I had to access phpMyAdmin to create a new database due to the password change 'Main Database Account'.
As I have never used 'DirectAdmin' before, (usually I use cPanel), I was a little uncertain.
Anyway all is good as there was no error today and the database was created and I accessed phpMyAdmin with the username and password created in 'MySQL Management'.
Thanks again!
Still curious as to why the old password still shows in the Control Panel though.

Re: Cannot Access phpMyAdmin
I see. Happy to see that it worked for you.
Password in your control panel will be changed only after you will reset your account by clicking Reset Account.
