Wordpress URL problem, please help!

Okay so I've installed wordpress in my public_html folder, but when I load up my url george-kinghorn.co.uk it just loads HOST1FREE's homepage, however when I type 'george-kinghorn.co.uk/Wordpress' it takes me to my site (which I haven't began working on).

Basically can someone help me understand how I make my url simply george-kinghorn.co.uk, without the /Wordpress.

I can provide screenshots if needed?

And if you can please be as basic as possible... I'm new to this, thank you!

Hi, in ftp nagivate to your public_html folder. open it. then you should see 'wordpress'. open that folder and move EVERYTHING to public_html so your wordpress folder is empty. delete your wordpress folder.

Then on the control panel for your server @ Server Access
at the bottom > PHPmyAdmin > then on the sidebar select your wordpress database...
Find WP-options and click on it.
Site_url, edit it to george-kinghorn.co.uk
and on the second page of wp-options change home to george-kinghorn.co.uk

That worked, to some extent.

Now my website loads but it's really basic with no design or images...

Hy, did you read the entire post? You need to use phpMyAdmin to edit it otherwise styles and images won't show properly.

Then on the control panel for your server @ Server Access

Yes I did the second part, however both 'WP-options' and 'Site_url' were already set to george-kinghorn.co.uk, so I just deleted the http but at the beginning, should I add it back on?

I added it back on and it works!!

in my phpMyAdmin, there are 2 databases for wordpress, now that could well be a mistake from when I was messing around trying to make it work, should I delete one? or wont it cause any problems?

Hi, from what I can see, it works now!

If I were you, delete the old database, you might need to use it for another paste/blog/forum or something!
