Help needed to change PHP.INI

Dear Host1Free, I am longterm costumer and for the first time I am installing
Datalife Engine, and in my admin backend I got this notice:

Attention:
On your server are outdated settings in php.ini, but it turned magic_quotes_gpc, this setting is not recommended when using DataLife Engine. Contact your hosting provider to disable this setting in the server configuration.

Can anyone please help me turn this off for my website!

You can place .htaccess file in the directory where you are installing Datalife with the following entry:

php_flag magic_quotes_gpc off
